Join us at the Portland Gear Hub Bike School for a 2-hour class that will give you the skills and knowledge to go out on a solo ride and not be worried about getting a flat tire, dropping chain, or other basic mechanical issues. Bring your own bike!
Wednesday, April 30, 6-8PM @ the bike school (85 Anderson St, PORTLAND MAINE)
This two-hour class will start with teaching you how to fix a flat, before moving on to cover other common mechanical issues you might encounter while out on a ride. By the end of the class, you'll know how to put together a basic tool kit, how the various parts of the bike work together, how to repair a flat tire, how to re-install a dropped chain, and when you should call someone to be picked up!
In addition to new skills, you'll walk away with a new tube, tire levers and patch kit, so that you're ready for your next adventure.
