This is a pretty fancy bike for a kid - it has hydraulic disc brakes, a 1x10 wide range drivetrain, and internal cable routing. Specialized sells it for $695.

This one has seen some reasonable use, is a little dirty, and has a tear on the side of the saddle, but is otherwise in great shape. In our experience the, the stock brakes aren't durable, so we upgraded them to Shimano Deore.

All bicycles sold by the Gear Hub are refurbished by our professional mechanics. Because these are used bikes, some signs of wear are normal. We replace any parts that we believe could compromise the safety or function of the bicycle. When components are still safe and serviceable, we retain them to keep prices affordable and reduce waste. We do our best to clearly describe and photograph any major cosmetic imperfections so there are no surprises.
